Between roughly 1625 and 1750 the Nermernuh experienced one of the greatest and most rapid military and social transformations in history.
The population of exploded to an estimated 40,000 by the late 1700s.
They wiped out the Kansas, Omahas, and Missouris, and pushed the Apache, Ute, and Osages to the edges of the plains.
